Be one of the first people to own a McLean & Co hand woven Waitaki tartan scarf. There are not many opportunities in life where you can purchase a piece of history in the making. We plan to weave 200 metres of Waitaki Tartan in the first run. This may seem like a lot of fabric, and it is, because it takes a lot of pedal power to create 200 metres of fabric on our heritage looms. However in the fashion and consumer realm, it's not a lot at all. The first of the Waitaki Tartan fabric can never be exactly replicated and in fact, we may decide to make changes to the design before we register it with the Scottish Tartan Authority, so it really will be limited edition.
Your Waitaki tartan scarf will be unique. It will be an heirloom, to be cherished by generations to come.
