Mersey - tussock herringbone cushion

Designed, woven and stitched in Oamaru, there is currently only one of these beautiful, natural merino and silk cushion covers, but we plan to weave more of this fabric later in 2025. Our Mersey collection focuses on the quality and strength of natural fibre yarn, traditional design and community.

This cushion is versatile and durable, quality through and through and will bring a touch of nature to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

SIZE: 50x50cm

FABRIC: Natural silk and NZ merino warp, with tussock coloured merino wool weft, NZ strong wool woven piping fabric, cotton piping cord and a quality zipper closure.

INNER: Please order your feather inner separately.
You can purchase this cushion with or without an ethically and sustainably produced NZ duck feather inner. Because we care about our environment and the welfare of the animals whose feathers are used, we choose to work with a New Zealand supplier who ensures ethical and
environmental practices are maintained. They take part in regular audits and reviews to maintain their high standards. The feather inners we use are manufactured with precision stitching and are piped to ensure a quality finish using specially designed fabric to prevent feathers escaping,

CARE: Hand wash recommended, or a gentle wool wash using an eco-friendly wool wash.  Dry flat. Warm iron. Do not tumble dry.
