In a world where so much is fleeting, this bespoke natural wool throw is an invitation to slow down—to savour the tactile, the authentic, the utterly unique. This throw is homegrown in every sense. The undyed yarn is grown by Bruce McCulloch and his family near the Waitaki River, spun and woven with local pride, and finished with a reverence for both heritage and innovation.

Woven by Rod on our c1895 dobby loom, and stitched by Sue, each throw features hand stitched centre seam and edges. There is nothing fast fashion or mass produced here.

As only a few metres of this randomly striped fabric was woven, there are only four throws available, with this weave and design never to be produced again.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
To preserve the integrity and beauty of this unique piece, we recommend spot cleaning and airing your throw as needed. Although you can machine wash this throw on a gentle wool wash, we recommend that you wash it by hand. Soak it in cold water with a mild, wool-specific detergent. Rinse and squeeze out any excess water. Do not wring your throw. Lay the throw flat to dry and re-shape accordingly. When dry, press with a cool iron. Do not put any wool products in the dryer, as they will shrink.
