Greta Natural White Herringbone Throw

Our Greta Collection features locally grown New Zealand Halfbred yarn, giving you the softness of Merino and the durability of Romney yarn. Woven in a traditional herringbone design, these throws suit any decor, from very traditional to very contemporary. 

Woven by Rod on our c1895 Hattersley Domestic Loom, and stitched by Sue, each throw features a hand stitched centre seam and gently frayed and stitched edges. Home grown South Island love.

Only a very small number of these throws have been made.

approx 160 x 160cm and 180 x 160cm

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
To preserve the integrity and beauty of this unique piece, we recommend spot cleaning and airing your throw as needed. Although you can machine wash this throw on a gentle wool wash, we recommend that you wash it by hand. Soak it in cold water with a mild, wool-specific detergent. Rinse and squeeze out any excess water. Do not wring your throw. Lay the throw flat to dry and re-shape accordingly. When dry, press with a cool iron. Do not put any wool products in the dryer, as they will shrink.
